OpenLANES – Digital Twin for Nodes and Networks

OpenLANES provides a high-fidelity real-time virtual replica for real devices. Through embedding the replicas in comprehensive environments and automatically running different potential configurations across many topology scenarios, with this, OpenLANES enhances the decision-making process by considering the effects of the decisions on potential future network situations, not only on the current situation e.g. link or node failures, expected or unexpected congestions, assessing the configurations with future deployed new nodes.

Using this property, advanced AI testing can be performed on the digital twin of single or complete network nodes enabling topology aware adaptations and thereby providing future-proof customized configurations.
